SurePayroll's October 2010 Small Business Scorecard

Small business hiring was flat in October, ending four consecutive months of positive year-to-date growth. The average paycheck size, however, showed small improvement with positive growth in October. That brings us to a year-to-date increase in small business hiring of +4.3 percent and a year-to-date pay increase of +0.6 percent.
