SurePayroll's September 2010 Small Business Scorecard

Small business hiring saw a slight jump to +0.1% , giving us four consecutive months of positive year-to-date growth. The average paycheck size also shows small improvement with positive +0.5% growth in September. That brings us to a year-to-date increase in small business hiring of +4.3 percent — a +0.1 percent increase over August — and a year-to-date pay increase of +0.5 percent.
