We are seeking a Business Analyst who is seeking to incorporate his/her experience and education in a fast paced, dynamic and fun environment.
Here is what you can expect to do:
- Report to the Manager, Business Analysis
- Act as liaison to the business team in order to recommend and specify viable technical solutions
- Work with business partners to gather requirements
- Analyze, interpret and document client requirements
- Track project progress against plan
- Develop test plans
- Train internal users on new features and enhancements
- Measure project metrics
Here is what we are looking for in a qualified candidate:
- 1- 3 years experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
- Experience in a technical environment with understanding of software development.
- A demonstrated record of success in conducting technical requirements definition and associated implementation of application systems.
- Experience in creating functional design and requirements in a software development environment.
- Proven web usability and design experience with emphasis on customer experience.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with technology staff and business stakeholders.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process redesign skills.
- Strong willingness to learn.
- Self-motivated.
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to conduct highly effective and successful meetings.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to work well independently with project teams.
- Experience in a critical thinking environment (such as consulting or corporate strategy) preferred.
- Experience in Payroll/HR related fields a plus.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and driving general requirements into actionable plans and tasks.
- Able to manage delivery against a project plan and budget.
- Maintains poise under pressure and weighs priorities with competing importance and urgency.
- Excellent team player, accustomed to achieving success through others.
- Driven to realize results not letting anything (within reason) stand in the way of progress and achieving committed goals.
- Project Management or Project Coordinator experience.
- Ability to develop, coordinate and track project plans.
- Demonstrated success in coordinating activities to meet project budgets and timelines, while meeting or exceeding quality metrics.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
- Bachelor of Science Degree Required
