Rick is responsible for expanding SurePayroll's private label sales initiatives with banks, financial service companies and other partners, as well as leading the direct sales efforts to small businesses nationally.
Prior to joining SurePayroll, he was the AVP, Software Sales-America, for Dell | ASAP Software, and Executive Vice President, Sales for ASAP Software, a $1.6B provider of IT products and services to business and government in North America and Europe. Rich joined ASAP in 1990 as director of sales and focused on developing an industry-leading sales organization. During his tenure, he expanded ASAP's sales presence throughout North America, Europe and led the establishment of new partnerships for the company in the Asia-Pacific region.
Rick began his career in the computer industry in 1977 with Burroughs Corporation, which later became Unisys. He joined Hewlett-Packard's computer systems group in 1979 where he held various sales and management leadership positions. He received numerous awards during this period, including recognition for leading the firm's highest-performing sales region. Rick holds a Master's of Business Administration degree in marketing from DePaul University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Northern Illinois University. He is an active volunteer, devoting time to educational and community organizations.
