Steve is the driving force behind SurePayroll’s continual innovation in online payroll processing. He spearheaded the creation of a Product Management division that defines product strategy and manages the company’s expanding portfolio of HR services.
Steve and his team focus on designing and launching new product lines and payroll features that make HR management simple and more convenient for small business owners. Over the last eight years at SurePayroll, Steve oversaw a product that has received the PC Magazine Editors' Choice Award and the 2009 Stevies for Sales and Customer Service Award, among many other industry accolades. In addition to architecting the leading full-service online payroll solution, he has launched complete 401(k) and health insurance products designed for small business budgets.
Prior to SurePayroll, Steve was a small business owner who ran a technology consulting firm that helped improve productivity for companies such as Abbott Laboratories, CNA Insurance and Ameritech Cellular. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
