SurePayroll Gears Up for the Second Annual Small Business Owner Appreciation Day Celebration
Country's Largest Online Payroll Provider Celebrates Small Business Owners
CHICAGO October 4, 2005 SurePayroll, Inc., the nations largest online payroll provider, today announced that it has officially kicked off the pre-celebration to the 2nd Annual Small Business Owner Appreciation Day to take place on February 7, 2005. Last year SurePayroll developed the holiday to give thanks to their more than 15,000 small business customers and to pay homage to the millions of small business owners across the country who work tirelessly to start and grow their businesses. SurePayroll believes the important role of the small business owner in the American economy is greatly underestimated. In the United States, small businesses represent more than 99 percent of all employees and employ 51 percent of private-sector workers. "It takes a lot of dedication and risk to start, grow and maintain a small business. Small business owners keep this economy moving with a lot of personal sacrifice," he said. "Last year we were able to award dozens of our small business owners with much-deserved prizes, and we plan to do the same this year." Last year SurePayroll provided hundreds of small businesses with free payroll processing as part of the Small Business Owner Appreciation Day Celebration. Three business owners were given $1000 travels prizes. SurePayroll will offer the same types of prizes through a referral contest that asks customers to help other small business owners to spread the word about SurePayroll's service, which is specifically designed to help small businesses save time and money on payroll processing.
