The awards, presented by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR), recognize companies that best embody the vision of employees being their featured asset.

Selection is based on a point system, with the highest-ranked companies chosen as winners.
According to criteria, judges look for "a unique thought process with top support from senior management and policy makers. They are looking for above-average programs, services and solutions for employees," as well as marketplace adaptation to new situations as they arise. Part of the evaluation also focuses on an anonymous company employee survey to determine accurate feelings about working conditions.
SurePayroll will join the other Best and Brightest recipients at an August 4 awards ceremony at the Oak Brook Marriott Hotel in Oak Brook, Ill. to celebrate their achievement. The Top 11 Elite Businesses of 2008 will be revealed at the ceremony.
